Branch Coffee Group Volunteer (Motherwell, North Lanarkshire)

Opportunity image

Our branches run a huge range of activities, one of which is often coffee groups. Coffee groups provide a friendly and safe space for parents/ carers of autistic children and those connected to autism. They can help reduce feelings of isolation and provide much needed peer support.

As a coffee groups volunteer, you will locate and book a venue, follow NAS branch policies, and provide a friendly face to those coming along.

Do you have personal experience with autism and want to make a difference in your local community? Being a few hours a month, this role can fit around your other responsibilities.

The role is fully supported by the regional Senior Branch Engagement Officer and the other branch volunteers. You will receive full guidance and training for everything you’ll need to do.
