Branch Volunteer (South Lanarkshire Branch Book Club Volunteer)

This is a general volunteer role helping with a variety of tasks at the branch such as welcoming new members, organising refreshments at meetings, planning activities for the branch.

There are lots of ways you can be involved once you have completed the application we will be in touch for an informal chat about your local branch

Book Library We will be looking for someone to help with our book library. This takes place at Cambuslang Morrisons on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10.30-11.30.

• Attending the cafe and supporting facilitate conversation with participants
• Recording of the books issued such as what is borrowed and contact details to track returns
• Assisting in promotion of the group in the community e.g. distributing posters

Support

• Designated Senior Branch Engagement Officer to answer any queries and provide support.
• You must complete any requested eLearning modules before you start volunteering. Your Senior Branch Engagement Officer will explain what you need to complete.
