When and where

Location: home based – (UK). Time: Three hours per week. Each Administration Volunteer carries out their role one day per week, this includes weekends

Once trained, we will take account of your preferences regarding which day of the week you prefer to carry out your role. Volunteers will moderate from their homes or any other location where they can access a computer in a confidential setting.

Support

  • You will be managed by the Autism Support Delivery Officer (online support) and will receive regular support and supervision
  • You will have access to our e-learning modules and ongoing training will be available
  • Regular meeting with other volunteers to share experiences and good practice

Training

Our training is extensive and thorough to ensure that you feel well prepared to volunteer for the National Autistic Society Online Community moderating user generated content once a week. Before being interviewed for the role you will complete an introductory module along with your application form, if you meet the required pass level, you will be asked for a telephone interview. Following successful recruitment, you will be asked to complete training modules with set deadlines over the course of several weeks. Support will be provided by your Autism Support Delivery Officer.
