Branch Autism Support Group Leader Volunteer (South Hampshire)
What is this? The monthly, evening autism support group is open to parents, carers and family members of autistic children and adults, autistic adults and professionals who work with autistic people, to meet to exchange experiences, skills and understanding. Guest speakers are occasionally invited.
It meets from 7.30pm with an opportunity to chat to other members, take refreshments and browse the branch information stand and library. The meeting itself, whether a discussion evening or a speaker presentation, will start by 8.00pm. The evening closes at 9.30pm.
All discussions are to enable participants to share information and experiences with one another. Please note: Branch volunteers are unable to offer any professional advice during these meetings.
