Group Volunteer Scotland In Person (Adult Social Group, Beith)

Opportunity image

We are currently bringing together a team of volunteers to support the delivery of our weekly Adult Social Group in Beith, North Ayrshire.

The Adult Social Group provides an opportunity for autistic adults to meet in a relaxed, safe environment to gently socialise, enjoy some peer support and help reduce feelings of isolation.

We already have some great volunteers involved in this work, and we are keen to recruit a volunteer to support the Group Leader to host this group each week.

Do you have personal experience of autism and want to make a difference in your local community?

Are you:

  • Approachable, patient and understanding of the needs of others?
  • Confident and able to speak to new people attending a group and make them feel welcome?
  • Able to work as part of a small team of volunteers?
  • Able to reliably commit a few hours a week to attend and support at our Adult Social Group?

If so, we’d welcome your application to become one of our volunteers at the Adult Social Group in Beith.
