Parent Support Group Volunteer (Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire)
We are currently building the team of volunteers who deliver our monthly Parents & Carers Support Group in Kilmarnock.
This group provides an opportunity for parents and carers to meet others who are also living with a family member who is autistic and provides a safe environment for people to meet, share their own experience and to listen to others.
We already have some great volunteers involved with this work, and we are keen to recruit more to develop the group.
Do you have personal experience of autism and want to make a difference in your local community?
Are you:
• Approachable, patient and understanding of the needs of others?
• Confident and able to speak to new people attending a group and make them feel welcome?
If so, we’d welcome your application to become one of our Parent and Carers Support Group Volunteers

N.B. You need to be located in the UK and live in, or around the East Ayrshire area in Scotland and be able to attend the Parent & Carers Support Group in person.
