Group Leader Volunteer Scotland In Person (Coffee Group- North Lanarkshire)

Opportunity image

We are currently bringing together a team of volunteers to support the delivery of a monthly Coffee Group in Coatbridge in North Lanarkshire, Scotland.

The Coatbridge Coffee Group will provide an opportunity for autistic adults to meet in a relaxed, safe environment to gently socialise, enjoy some peer support and help reduce feelings of isolation.

We already have some great volunteers to start this work, and we are keen to recruit a volunteer Coffee Group Leader to lead the team of volunteers and develop the group.

Do you have personal experience of autism and want to make a difference in your local community?

Are you:

  • Approachable, patient and understanding of the needs of others?
  • Confident and able to speak to new people attending a group and make them feel welcome?
  • Organised and able to help volunteers to work together as a small team?
  • Able to reliably commit a few hours a month to attend and support at our Coffee Group?

If so, we’d welcome your application to become one of our Coffee Group Leader volunteers.

Where: Coatbridge.

N.B. You need to be located in the UK and live in, or around the North Lanarkshire area in Scotland and be able to attend the Coffee Group in person.
