Parent Support Group Volunteer (Glasgow)

Opportunity image

Do you have personal experience of autism and want to make a difference in your local community?

We are currently bringing together a team of volunteers to support the delivery of Parent & Carer Support Groups across the city, with the first one starting in the Partick area of Glasgow, in the New Year.

These groups will provide an opportunity for parents and carers to meet others who are also living with a family member who is autistic and provide a safe environment for people to meet, share their own experience and to listen to others.

We already have some great volunteers to start this work, and we are keen to recruit more to develop other groups across the city.

As a Parent Support Group Volunteer, you will provide a friendly face to those coming along to the activities and support the Group Leader to host welcoming, friendly and supportive in-person monthly groups.
